The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Integration and Test Engineering Product Owner (level 3) to join the F/A-18 Mission Systems group located in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.
This role will involve integration of aircraft mission avionics systems while working in collaborative environment utilizing SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). The selected candidate will have the opportunity to play a key role supporting the F/A-18 Super Hornet and Growler fleet. Experience with avionics technology is a plus.
Position Responsibilities:
Helps develop, maintain, and communicates the team’s product backlog
Responsible for delivering value to the customer for the team’s allocated work
Works with external customers and internal stakeholders to plan and execute complex hardware-software integration efforts in a fast-paced environment.
Identifies, collects, analyzes, and organizes execution data (metrics) to manage the work.
Responsible for communication across teams and across levels of technical leadership.
Analyzes customer requests with consideration for contractual and technical impacts, and translates them into program and system requirements.
Provides support and solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
Must be proactive in understanding the big picture and the inter-relationships between positions and activities of the F/A-18 organization.
Must be proactive in understanding the product systems and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance with first time quality.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Experience as a Product Owner or other leadership role
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Have or Held an active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months
Experience with hardware/software integration of aircraft computers, sensors, or weapons
Experience with systems engineering such as defining system architecture, writing requirements, verification and validation planning and execution, and performing integration and test
Experience working in an agile environment with associated workflow tools such as Jira
Experience with SAFE agile
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range (Level 3 Mid Level): $96,050-$129,950
