Raytheon is seeking a well-qualified Senior Cyber Engineer-P3 to join the Cyber Security Engineering team for a dynamic, high-profile program located in Aurora, CO. This role will support the operations and maintenance of PKI solutions and development activities in Aurora, CO and Boulder, Colorado. This position requires work on-site at Aurora campus and some work may be performed at the customer location in Boulder. There are some specialized skillsets for this role: experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) domain; identity access management and governance, to include single sign on, identity federation, lifecycle management, enterprise directory architecture and design, and resource provisioning; and general support and maintenance of Enterprise PKI components such as Certificate Authorities, responders, and certificate enrollment workflows.
What You Will Do
Ensure security compliance and vulnerability scanning/remediation across multiple platforms and networks
System configuration, system hardening and Audit Scanning
Performing hands-on technical implementation of security solutions comprised of COTS & FOSS as well as custom-developed products
Applying knowledge of current IA policies as a contributor to the architecture and design of secure solutions to customer needs and requirements
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5+ years of engineering experience in cyber security
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) domain, including experience with encryption server administration, key management server, tokenization methods, Hardware Security Module (HSM) installation, and management
Experience with identity access management and governance to include: single sign on, identity federation, lifecycle management, enterprise directory architecture, design and resource provisioning
Experience with Enterprise PKI components such as Certificate Authorities, responders and certificate enrollment workflows
Qualifications We Prefer
Architect complex Identity and Access Management systems which span multiple organizations, challenging requirements and ensuring appropriate access to mission-critical systems
Triage service issues and production impairment within the SLA timelines and provide detailed postmortem reports as required
Develop and augment automation through scripting or programming
Experience with cyber security engineering projects and programs for U.S. Government clients
Experience working independently and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in high visibility interactions with key stakeholders
Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST 800-37, Continuous Monitoring IAW NIST 800-137, Patching IAW NIST 800-40, NIST 800-53 and CNSSI 1253
Understanding of security design concepts with ability to develop solutions to moderately complex IS compliance and security problems
Strong communications skill with program leadership organizations
Ability to establish tasks and objectives and ensure the entire team understands and can work towards the vision and objectives

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
