We offer 8-12 weeks of onsite training. Onsite training - Monday - Friday: 7 AM - 4:30 PM CST
Primary Responsibilities: - Schedules appointment times using computerized scheduling programs
- May communicate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure availability of facilities and staff
- Communicates with patients and/or their families to provide necessary pre-procedure instructions and/or to confirm appointments.
- Performs insurance verification and/or pre-authorizations as necessary
- May be responsible for managing the referral work queue, entering patient demographic information, and scanning documents into an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- May correspond with referring providers and/or patients for reports, information exchange, scheduling, x-rays, and paperwork
- May provide administrative support for Physicians or Nurse Practitioners

Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- Ability to work as needed, Monday - Friday between 7:00am - 5:30pm CS T
Preferred Qualifications: - 1+ years of related work experience, including data entry
- Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology
- ICD 9 or 10 and CPT coding experience
