Job Description:
Addison Central School is a fiscally sound district and a great place to work with outstanding students, a

Tier and serves more than 1,000 students in grades PreK-12.
Preferred qualifications include: A comprehensive understanding of school district and building leadership;
demonstrated commitment to the education of children with varying needs and the advancement of student
achievement and growth; experience in planning, development and implementation of district-wide
curriculum programs; knowledge of state assessment data analysis; experience with school finance, budget
development and negotiations; effective mentoring skills; ability to develop policies, regulations and
procedures; experience in all areas of human resources management and annual evaluations; outstanding
written, verbal and relationship building skills.
This is a key central office position reporting directly to the Superintendent of Schools and has overall
responsibility for oversight of all instructional programming, curriculum and assessment for grades Pre-K
through 12. The Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction assists the Superintendent of Schools and the
Executive Director of Finance & Operations in day-to-day operations of the District, and oversees four
program-level principals and instructional support staff.

Job Qualifications:
The successful applicant must have a NY State certification as an SDA or SDL and a minimum of five years of
building level administration and/or central office experience. Candidates must be able to contribute at the
senior cabinet level, be part of a collaborative leadership team and support the instructional mission of the
district. The successful candidate will be hard-working, industrious and a self-starter who is adept with
technology and data analysis.
