Responsibilities:
The Utility Locator/Auditor performs on-site observation and audit of the performance and quality of work performed by locators. This position communicates audit results to the Project Manager, and will also have some office administrative work. Position will consist of field work and auditing work for the winter months.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings: Drug test, background check, and driving record
- Upon employment, subject to random drug testing in compliance with DOT guidelines
- Must have line locating experience.
- Must be able to work overtime when duties cannot be performed within a normal work schedule
- High School diploma or GED.
Working Conditions and Hours:
- Outdoor work environment
- Driving company vehicle to and from work sites
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Successfully complete the company’s training program and pass applicable written and field tests
- Develop a general knowledge of state and local damage prevention regulations
- Learn and apply safety measure relating to motor vehicle operation and other field related matters
