Position Summary:
As a Cath Lab Registered Nurse, you will provide patient care using the nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation process. It is crucial to address the patient's and family's physical, psychosocial, and religious/cultural needs. Effective communication with the healthcare team about patient condition changes is essential.
Minimum Requirements:
· Completing the Nursing Diploma Program or an associate degree in nursing is required. An accredited school is required.
· You must have critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within 30 days of hire.
· Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
· A current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license is also required. Handle with care is preferred.
· 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
