General Manager Trainees - Early CareerNorthpoint Roofing Systems, a renowned roofing company known for its commitment to excellence, customer satisfaction and ranked 653 on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list, is looking for Branch Managers to oversee operations of a small division, including operations and production, while training to become a General Manager.Under the direction of the General Manager, Branch Managers' primary responsibility is to recruit and train a high performing outside sales team of Roofing Advisors (insurance & retail sales) and Frontline Sales (canvassers) to drive growth of the business. In addition to leading an outside sales team and attaining sales goals, other responsibilities include onboarding staff, managing attendance, employee development and motivation and customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesHire, train, motivate, and advise team of outside salespersons (Roofing Advisors & Frontline Salespersons)Execute policies and procedures in alignment with Company guidelines and objectives and applicable regulationsGenerate new business, and establish and nurture client relationshipsDevelop and execute strategies to increase sales, grow customer baseCollaborate closely with General Manager to execute outside sales activities that support the business strategy defined by senior leadershipUpon successful completion of sales, work closely with accounting to manage commission plans and calculate commission earningsIdentify and establish relationships with major OEMs, contractors and partners in the marketConstantly recruit to cycle out low performers and keep teams at full capacity; encourage a culture of constant recruiting within the teamDocument all sales activity in database with a high degree of accuracy and correctnessMeet with staff in-person weekly as well as conduct one-on-one meetings to discuss job progress and work performance and to establish a good rapport with direct reportsLead daily AM meetings and debrief at the end of the dayMake suggestions regarding process improvements and assist with the implementation of new systems and processesWork with leadership to develop standardized training for new Roofing Advisors and Frontline SalespersonsAssess employee performance and provide helpful feedback and training; conduct annual performance evaluations alongside General ManagerOrganize and attend targeted industry events; attend job fairs, trade shows, team events and hiring events for recruitmentAttend department meetings, keep current on sales information, products, and industry trendsBachelor's degree or a combination of education and equivalent experienceOpen to relocation nationwideManagerial experience with a focus on internal goals, team performance and employee retention5+ years of experience in sales/business development within the home services industry (HVAC, Plumbing, Roofing, Pest, etc.)Availability to travel as needed; must have a valid driver's licenseAbility to lead with confidence; support team; take responsibility and lead by exampleDocumented performance of increasing revenueExcellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to foster collaboration and achieve collective sales goalsFamiliarity with tablets, Apple iPads (iPadOS)Proficiency (intermediate) with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)CRM experiencePIbb529f8eaeb8-25660-34721390
