The Rogosin Institute is a non-profit medical care and research organization affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Medicine. Rogosin is one of the premier centers for the diagnosis and management of kidney disease in the country. The Institute also treats patients with diabetes, hypertension, lipid disorders and cancer and conducts research in these areas.
The Rogosin Institute is seeking to hire Hemodialysis Technicians. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, the Technician will be responsible for providing designated care to outpatient dialysis patients; responsible for initiation, monitoring and termination of hemodialysis treatment. Job duties include setting-up and monitoring of dialysis machines and water systems, priming the dialyzers, access cannulation, and preparation of dialysate delivery system, alarm checks, dialyzer connection, monitor settings and disinfection of equipment according to RI standards. This is a 4-day per week schedule with alternating Saturdays.
