As a valued colleague on our Single Family Marketing team, you will contribute to planning and implementing all aspects of marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives for the products and services used by our sellers and servicers.
We have one opening for this position and it can be worked on a hybrid basis from our Washington, DC, Reston, VA or Plano, TX office.
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Mortgage Finance B2B Marketing Strategist role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy: Partner with business units and the Marketing organization to develop and implement B2B marketing plans that support our brand, integrate with other product offerings to provide a positive customer experience, and align with business priorities.
- Policy and Product Marketing: Think strategically and tactically to create and execute compelling multi-channel campaigns and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Value Proposition Development: Using qualitative and quantitative research findings, evaluate and identify the top value driver of products/services for the B2B target market to inform the product’s features, positioning, and messaging. Distill complex concepts and information into powerful, intuitive value propositions.
- Communications Planning: Develop the schedule, format, content, and method by which communications are delivered to a specific audience.
- Strengthen Fannie Mae brands by concepting, positioning, and launching products and services that provide value, and a positive experience that delights our customers and partners.
- Market Research and Customer/Consumer Insights: Lead or guide research teams to uncover and validate insights that represent the voice of the customer and inform the product marketing strategy.
Qualifications
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences
- 4 years related experience in B2B marketing strategy and execution.
- Experience within collateral or loan quality management, financial services, or the mortgage industry.
- Marketing Strategy and Management: Experience creating collateral, marketing products or services, and managing multi-channel paid media campaigns including social media, etc.
- Communication and Storytelling: Ability to clearly present information and ideas to an audience verbally or in writing in a way that is engaging and easy to understand. Includes presentations, copywriting, planning, and distributing communication, etc.
- Campaign Development: Experience developing a strategy to communicate a compelling message to a specific audience to achieve desired outcomes.
- Business Insight: Prior experience advising, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.
- Project Management: Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively towards a common goal.
- Relationship and Vendor Management: Ability to engage stakeholders, customers, and vendors including creative teams; building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Passionate about building something from the ground up; driven by discovering new opportunities and finding creative solutions to bring innovative products and ideas to market.
- Comfort with Ambiguity: Enjoys projects that evaluate new ideas in an experimental environment and the challenge of solving complex problems. Able to navigate new territories, lead and motivate others through uncertainty, and respond to changing priorities.
- Influencing skills including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict.
- Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint.
Desired Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 6-8 years of related experience preferred.
- Prior experience working in a regulated environment.
- Experience using Workfront, SharePoint, Salesforce, and Confluence.
