Job Summary
- Responsible for developing and enhancing telemedicine applications and working with physicians and their office staff in coordinating telemedicine sessions.
- Nursing assessment skills required to care for the complex patient.
- Computer skills required for documentation and data collection.
- Follows proper procedures and policies regarding telemedicine consultations.
- Communication to care team and family members.
- Strong patient advocate.
- Responsible for addressing patient billing concerns and questions as it pertains to telemedicine charges.
Education and/or Experience
- Prior experience related to telemedicine and videoconferencing equipment is desirable.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in South Dakota.
Work Schedule
- Day shifts; 72 hours 2 weeks
- No weekends/holidays/call time
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
