About You
You will play an integral role in partnering with key STIHL retailers / dealers to optimize the entire STIHL assortment and support the online shopping experience on their sites for STIHL products. The right person will ensure that relevant and accurate product information and content are delivered to retailer enterprise systems and are featured to end users in the appropriate manner. The actions will support driving higher overall revenue by lifting conversion rates and increasing average order values. You will also support driving omnichannel revenue through strategic product presentation, assortment, and promotion of products on STIHL digital platforms.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner with Dealers to Optimize STIHL Product Assortment and Digital Merchandising: Regularly coordinate with dealers to ensure STIHL product data and content is accurately accounted for in vendor management systems. Utilize PIM and DAM systems to facilitate success. Management of product feeds to dealer platforms either via API feeds, syndication partners, or other methods. Builds a solid understanding of the path to purchase on sites and how STIHL can win. Ensures new product launches on dealer sites are optimal and coordinated with STIHL's launch plans. Ensure that STIHL products are displayed on retailer sites in a STIHL approved format and consistent with overall brand standards.
- Optimize STIHL dealer sites and Work with cross-functional teams to ensure STIHL products and promotions are optimized on STIHL digital properties to drive conversion and higher average order values. Create strategic plans to boost or bury select products based on a data-driven approach to optimize overall market share.
- Content Support, Graphic Design, and Optimization: Identify content needs and coordinate with marketing and creative teams to develop compelling product imagery, videos, and descriptions that effectively communicate product features and benefits. Ability to convey customer needs, prioritize those needs, and simplify for relevant internal groups both in the US and at STIHL's global HQ.
- Site Search Optimization: Support optimization of site search functionality by refining search algorithms, enhancing autocomplete suggestions, and managing synonyms through Algolia to ensure accurate and relevant search results.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and bounce rates to assess the effectiveness of digital merchandising efforts.

Specifications
- Bachelor's degree in the areas of marketing, digital, or business related fields preferred or combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience in digital merchandising, e-commerce, or related roles.
- Solid communication skills and ability to represent STIHL to lift the performance of our dealers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights, and ability to utilize excel and analytics dashboards to find priority actions.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, content management systems (CMS), product information management (PIM), design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital merchandising and e-commerce.
