Responsibilities:
- The Clinical Nutrition Supervisor is a valued leader in the Food and Nutrition Department
- Leads the clinical nutrition team in providing evidence based nutrition care
- Responsible for clinical nutrition team and diet office/call center
- Collaborates with the medical team
- Leads clinical nutrition performance improvement projects
- Provides nutrition education and training to healers in the department and the health system
- Preceptor for Dietetic Interns
- Super User for nutrition software
Qualifications:
Education
- Completion of a BS degree program approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics that leads to registration as a Registered Dietitian.
Experience
- Basic knowledge of subspecialty areas (nutrition support, diabetes, cardiology, renal, oncology, etc).
Licensure/Certification
- Registration with the CDR and an Oklahoma State Dietitian license.
- Must obtain a food handlers permit from the Cleveland County Health dept. before hire (or within 1 week of hire).
- Two years of clinical experience in an acute care facility.
- Previous experience working in a clinical diet office or previous supervisory experience at a clinical diet office.
