POSITION : Refrigeration Technical Support Specialist

JOB SUMMARY: Refrigeration Technical Support will provide superior technical support to our OEM's, non-OEMs, service contractors as well as our sales team, primarily via phone and e-mail. Also assists in providing technical training for our sales teams, contract service companies and customers to enhance their ability to troubleshoot with proficiency on the latest products, of which the design and technology is advancing within the refrigeration industry in general.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide post-sales refrigeration technical support to our customers; contract service companies and installing contractors via phone and/or e-mail.
- Responds to customers in a timely manner to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Systematically diagnoses field issues, creating thorough field reports that include the process used to diagnose, the measurements and observations collected, and develop a robust conclusion with recommendations on actions to resolve, while minimizing warranty costs.
- Identify quality and performance trends and report to appropriate organization to assure root cause problem resolutions.
- Assist sales team, customers and service contractors technical training.
- Lead the industry in proficiency of new technology, refrigeration equipment and accessories by attending designated training provided by manufacturers and JTS Associates.
- Develop and or source troubleshooting tools for documenting and tracking service calls.
- Participation in developing and maintaining i nstallation, o peration and m aintenance m anuals.
- Maintain familiarity with new products being shipped out.
- Conduct on-site job visits only when necessary.
- Maintain a personal and professional development plan.
REQUIREMENTS: - 5 years' experience in the field of HVACR service.
- Technical knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration service and installation.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical /controls/refrigeration / hydronics.
- Technical certification or AA/AS degree preferred.
- Computer experience and proficiency with MS Office.
- Familiar with technical writing and technical manuals.
- Possess good communication as well as organizational skills.
- Have good computer skills and understand operating systems and applications.
- Knowledge of adult training methods and practical approaches to educate experienced as well people new in the field.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Perform required duties with the ability to work supervised and independently, striving to maintain excellent time management skills.
- Ability to travel, if needed. Travel would be very minimal if at all.
- Be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Promoting safety as a guiding principle and a regular practice in accomplishing work
- Show the utmost respect for others and be a team player.
- Ability to pass a background and drug screening.
