Position Overview:
Press Technician operate Transfer Press equipment to required specifications while maintaining production by adhering to planned production requirements and continuously monitoring quality. A Press Technician operates as part of the production team and each Press Technician is stationed to an assigned machine(s). Responsibilities of a Press Technician include:
· Operate transfer presses, while completing tasks according to established checklists, procedures and guidelines.
· Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and plug gauges to monitor quality.
· Knowledge and effective use of PLEX production software
· Maintain cleanliness in and around area including debris, scrap, and plug gauges.
· Perform mechanical adjustments and preventative maintenance as needed.
· Troubleshoot deficiencies or malfunctions of equipment to resolve and reduce machine downtime.

Candidate Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Strong mechanical ability
· Strong mathematical aptitude
· Reading competency
· The ability to work in a manufacturing facility with large press machinery.
