UC-Irvine affiliated group at an award-winning Children's Hospital is actively seeking a part-time physician board certified/eligible in allergy and immunology to join a cutting-edge academic practice on the west coast.
The program operates under the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology, Allergy & Immunology at Miller Children's & Women s Hospital. The division is certified as a JCAHO Asthma Center of Excellence, and hosts a severe asthma clinic, immune deficiency clinic, food/drug challenges, and atopic dermatitis, as well as, having a large cohort of established atopic patients.
The division works closely with one of the largest Food Allergy Centers in the world. With over 1,500 patients treated for severe, life threatening food allergies, the center is seeking to train and supervise the physician recruit to participate in treatment. Under the guidance of its founder, Dr. Inderpal Randhawa, the recruit will receive hands on guidance on food allergy therapeutics and affiliated research opportunities.
