To our prospective CRNA teammates,
As the regional CRNA director for Sound Anesthesia, my journey with Sound began as a locum provider. From the outset, I was deeply impressed by the exceptional culture and high standard of care upheld by Sound Anesthesia. This positive experience led me to accept a full-time position and eventually grow into a leadership role. We are currently offering an exciting CRNA opportunity at Marshfield Medical Center - Dickenson in Iron Mountain, MI. Our practice is one that we take great pride in, and we are eager to welcome new and experienced CRNAs seeking a fresh start or a change in their careers. Join us in exploring our people, practice, and purpose-the core principles that define and drive us.
People
- We operate in a care team model with four CRNAs and one physician each day.
- We pride ourselves on promoting autonomy and encouraging every provider to practice at the top of their license. Our team s success relies on each provider s input and collaboration, which creates a rewarding experience for all.
- We excel when we collaborate with all specialties, surgeons, nurses, technicians, and administrators.
- As a leader, I strive to support all our providers and give them the tools, framework, and resources necessary to do their best work. I m always available to lend a hand or provide support.
Practice
- Marshfield Medical Center - Dickinson is a fully integrated medical campus that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient health care to residents in upper Michigan and northeast Wisconsin.
- We do an average of 450 cases/month. The cases are bread and butter, no heads/hearts/vascular. We cover 4 ORs and 2 procedure rooms.
- Our clinicians can practice at the top of their licenses. We are involved in every aspect of the perioperative process, including PAT and schedule coordination, intraoperative care, and postoperative management. As a clinician at MMCD, you dictate your own anesthesia plan and place your own blocks and lines.
- CRNAs must be able to work independently and be comfortable performing blocks, epidurals/spinals, and occasionally central lines.
- We have a great team that works together to support each other which facilitates learning and skills mastery for all clinicians.
Purpose
- We put patients first. Always.
- We value and support growth and development in our anesthesia practice, allowing you to explore new opportunities locally and within the broader medical group.
- We're a community-minded team and support involvement and contributions to community health and wellness in and out of the hospital.
