- Home every night!
- Monday through Friday schedule. Weekends as needed.
- Day shift typically starting:
- 6 am for residential
- 3 am for commercial
- Level of Touch: Load and Unload Equipment
- Late model Battle trucks
- Residential front loader and rear loader
- Commercial front loader
- Automatic Transmission
- 80% of the fleet is on compressed natural gas Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate company vehicles in a safe manner in compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements, all local, state, and federal laws and Kimble policies.
- Perform pre-and post-trip inspection of the vehicle, and document/report any mechanical or safety issues to supervisors.
- Immediately notifies Supervisor of accidents, injuries, or property damage
- Maintains and updates route sheets and driver logs
- Attending scheduled safety meetings, information sessions, and trainings.
- Performs other duties assigned to by Supervisors such as assisting with other routes to meet customer needs Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have CDL B license (or A)
- Must have a minimum of 1-year of verifiable driving experience with a clean driving record
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle records check
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
