About You
This person will coordinate support for functional modules of ERP, including coordination of ERP functional analysts and department managers, customizing ERP for cross-application functions, coordination of consultant support, planning for ERP release upgrades, coordination of integration testing, coordination with internal ERP basis support team, management of ERP problem determination and resolution, coordination of ERP activities with parent company and supervision of I/S personnel responsible for ERP applications.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervises work and performance of assigned personnel responsible for ERP applications. Ensures proper training and developmental opportunities for individuals. Ensures that protocols and trained backups are in place to provide business continuity in all situations
- Ensures that the ERP system is customized to fit the current and future business needs of STIHL Inc.
- Works with IS functional analysts, department managers and key users to analyze processes and recommend changes that improve quality or efficiency.
- Coordinates change management in the ERP environment.
- Schedules and coordinates external consultant support for ERP functional areas.
- Coordinates ERP integration testing. Plans for ERP upgrades, extensions and interfaces
- Acts as liaison to and coordinates ERP activities with STIHL Germany
- Coordinates end user ERP training
- Maintains and presents status of projects. Participates in budgeting and strategic planning process for IS department.
- Maintains currency in technical and professional skills by attending training classes and seminars as needed.
- Maintains awareness of ERP product developments
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Specifications
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Experience in multiple SAP modules preferred. Working knowledge of SAP data dictionary and database architecture and experience customizing the SAP system.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational and project management skills.
