We seek an experienced Sales Representative who thrives in a high velocity sales process to build relationships with new customers. This person will be responsible for identifying prospects within her or his given territory, forming relationships with those prospects, and bringing them onto the ArbiterSports platform. This person will also be responsible for driving adoption of ArbiterSports products within her or his set of customers.
Priorities and deliverables:
- Add $250k in committed revenue to ArbiterSports' business by adding new customers.
- Maintain a weighted pipeline of 3x revenue to ensure a steady flow of new deals.
These priorities and deliverables will be achieved by:
- Demonstrating consistent, effective, and repeatable prospecting behaviors (expected call volume to exceed 30 calls per day)
- Developing detailed plans to share with senior leadership for meeting and exceeding quota each quarter
- Following up on all leads provided by marketing in a timely and professional manner
- Attending relevant industry conferences as an active participant, meeting potential customers, presenting on behalf of ArbiterSports, and distributing company information and collateral
- Demonstrating a clear understanding of the sales process and progressing opportunities with potential customers by sending emails, holding phone calls, running product demos, and securing the prospects as customers
- Maintaining the self-discipline and time management skills necessary to manage daily prospecting, presentations/demos, travel (infrequent), and necessary tasks to move opportunities through the pipeline
- Ensuring a smooth transition process for new customers to the implementation team
- Responding to questions or requests of customers as appropriate, or referring them to the account management or customer service functions
- Providing support to other ArbiterSports sales representatives as appropriate, for instance by taking a meeting on a colleague's behalf
- Providing weekly updates to the sales manager regarding pipeline growth, progression, and won/lost opportunities
- Clearly articulating any market developments, feature requests, prospect complaints, etc. to management to ensure they are addressed
- Maintaining all account activity data in Salesforce
- Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degrees (preferred, but not required)
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a software sales position (within sports or K-12 education preferred)
- Track record of over-achievement in previous roles
- Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM solutions
- Expertise in MS Office Suite and experience working in a remote desktop environment
- Required travel of roughly 5%.
Compensation details: 60000-95000 Yearly Salary
