The Inspections Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY
- The Inspection Coordinator is responsible for managing, updating, and maintaining the inspection database located in Quickbase.
- They coordinate the scheduling of inspections and are responsible for completing all associated inspections and electronic paperwork.
- They are responsible to respond to inquiries from tenants and staff regarding the inspection scheduling process and interpreting inspection housing violations.
- Must demonstrate ability to proactively identify problems and strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
- Oversees the inspection for safety of the center owned and leased vehicles.
- This position will be responsible for preparing the facilities for all licensure inspections, HUD inspections or state inspections.
- This position will maintain all elevator inspections, generator, and chiller/boiler inspections.
- All outside vendor inspections will work with this internal inspector to ensure communication between facilities and clinical staff.

- Provides back up to the Safety office, and Facilities managers.
- Works with facilities staff to ensure all tickets are closed and followed up on timely.
- Conducts inspections as required.
- Prepares all facilities for winterizing, inspects regularly for extreme temperature fluctuation that may affect equipment.
- Inspects all facilities grounds, roadway, parking areas, and external structural areas.
- Generates work orders related to buildings and grounds to ensure proper repairs.
- Assist with Lawn vendor, tree vendors, housekeeping, and Pest control as directed by supervisor.
- Accompanies all outside vendors for inspections of all the facilities.
- Perform monthly inspection of propane for generators.
- Manages costs and assists with yearly Capital projects
- Monthly inspection of all kitchen stoves, hoods, and suppression systems.
- Does monthly inspections for HUD, the State licensure, Fire Marshals, CARF and any other inspectors.
- Provides training to staff on safety items and pm and cm ideas for improvement.
- Meets with all inspectors on site to do a walkthrough of the buildings.
- Coordinates safety meetings for staff.
- Meets with insurance company to ensure buildings meet safety standards.
- Provides OSHA training to staff.
- Oversees documentation.
- Completes the required purchase order or expense request for projects.
- Completing 75% of helpdesk request within three business days.
- Tracks vehicle VIN numbers, mileage, and depreciation.
- Assists with Monthly fire drills.
- Coordinates repairs and inspections for center owned or leased vehicles
- Responsible for scheduling and monitoring facility inspections by both internal and external agencies and staff.
- Reports QA/QI indicators quarterly and learns Security officer reports to provide back up when needed.
COMPENSATION:
Starting salary for this position is approximately $22.21 /hr based on relevant experience and education.

Travel:
- Travel between McNabb worksites is required.
- F endorsement is required.
Equipment/Technology:
- Basic computer skills are required for email, timekeeping, and documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS - Inspections Coordinator
Education:
- High school diploma some college or technical school preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, construction materials and general construction techniques.
- This position requires the ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Post-secondary education in any building trade is a plus, though experience is a primary factor.
Experience / Knowledge:
- Minimum of five years' experience is required in the field of building maintenance and/or construction and at least three years of supervision.
- Some knowledge of computers and computer software.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong professional attitude, self-motivated, interpersonal skills.
Physical:
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs; proficient in reading; ability to communicate effectively; and ability to type proficiently.
