What You Will Do: The
Patient Access Supervisor is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Patient Access Departments. This includes activities in scheduling, pre-admission, pre-registration, admission, registration & Quality Assurance. This position will work closely with the Supervisors of the Emergency Room to apply new and emerging approaches to our business processes. This position will perform any and all job related duties as assigned.
This is a full time position and is 100% onsite at MLK Hospital. Schedule: Swing shift, Monday-Friday, from 3:00PM-11:30PM, with rotating on-call every 3 weeks from Monday to Monday. Essential Job Functions: • Human Resource Leadership

What You Will Need: High School diploma OR equivalent (GED), and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
Demonstrated competency in working in teams and ability to effectively communicate with all levels.
Demonstrated leadership in creating and implementing new processes.
Current BLS certification with American Heart Association OR ability to obtain within 90 days post hire.
What Would Be Nice To Have: Two years hospital management experience in revenue cycle functions, preferred.
The annual salary range for this position is $65,900.00-$98,900.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
