Job Summary
At Comcast, we build security into all products and services. To help us continue securing our products, we're in search of a product manager to lead cross-functional teams in the creation of tools and products that improve customer experience and reduce risk. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for gaps in product offerings and an innovative mindset for filling them. This person should have a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of a product, from conception to release. The ideal candidate will have a broad background in information and product security, and experience in defining, building, and analyzing products and services. Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle: including planning, requirements, roadmap development, and product launch
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by Cybersecurity teams
- Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, and technical requirements
- Manage the intake and triage of feature requests from external stakeholders
- Understand customers through cross-alignment with stakeholders, direct customers, and partner organizations (their visions, roadmaps, general alignment for opportunities and innovation.)
Required Skills
- Strong experience in a dynamic product management role
- Experience working with software development teams
- Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
- High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Confident in ability to tell the story and influence
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record delivering on transformation and implementation of secure development best practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product ownership, product management, or product development. Experience with Cybersecurity functions preferred.
- Proven success as a product developer in a nonmanagerial role
- Proven ability to communicate with technology and business leaders
- Bachelor's degree in related field, master's preferred
- Knowledge of Product Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies
