This person should thoroughly understand the details, key milestones, and deliverables associated with projects under development to ensure seamless handover to the ongoing operations team and other internal stakeholders.
About the Position
Our client is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to focus on their Community Solar portfolio. This person should be organized and detail-oriented, love to make chaotic situations run smoothly, understand the value of strong processes and be willing to enthusiastically familiarize oneself with various software systems to assist in creating and then managing a seamless, efficient, and highly organized project onboarding process.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in development administration and/or project management, with some exposure to solar PV projects preferred
- Ability to flex across the development and construction lifecycle
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through
- Effective written and oral communicator capable of motivating colleagues and external parties to collaborate and respond to requests.
- Unimpeachable integrity and glowing references
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including empathy, intuition, and listening as well as strong writing, editing, and basic design skills
