Director of Nursing needed for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Northern CA
This is a 25-bed SNF. If you are interested in a smaller facility, where your team is tight knit and you have a lot of autonomy, this will be the place for you. You will be involved in the patient care process (planning, implementing and evaluating care from RN's) as well as manage the budget and assure top quality.
They are looking for someone with strong nursing experience who likes a challenge every day and has good people skills, for both patient and managerial purposes. Long-term fit within the company and benefits for their employees are important, which is why they have generous PTO, 401k plan with matching (after 1 year) as well as varying insurance plans/coverage to choose from. The ideal candidate is a California licensed Nurse with at least two years of clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility. Previous management experience is required - preferable in a SNF but will consider candidates with Acute Care management experience.
If you lead an active lifestyle and like to be outdoors this will be the right place for you. They experience all four seasons, and have endless possibilities for activities in each year round. Lakes and rivers are full of fish if fishing is your passion, but if you are more interested in skiing, snowboarding or hiking, etc. they are on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. If you are simply interested in a more relaxed lifestyle and want somewhere beautiful to live, this would be that place as well.
Another perk of this area is that the cost of living is extremely affordable, which is tough to come by in California. My client offers an extremely competitive compensation package with full-benefits and some of their own added perks such as a wellness program that many employees are involved in.
