Gastroenterology Locums Job l Conyers, GeorgiaDetails/Requirements for Assignment :- Must have active Georgia license and Board Certification and active ACLS, BLS, CSR and DEA
- Hospital is losing a Gastroenterologist so need is to help supplement coverage until a new permanent provider is in place
- Will cover inpatient service and call. Will be in-house during the day and take call from home/hotel
- Advanced Gastroenterology procedures is not required. Will consult, scope and perform emergency cases as needed.
- There are two APPs to support the Gastroenterology physicians
- Can expect to see 20-25 patients/cases per day
- Ideally would like to aim for a September start, but the privileging process takes 5 months on average
- 161 Bed hospital
- EMR at the hospital is EPIC
