We are seeking an accomplished Payroll Manager to spearhead and refine our payroll operations. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with all regulatory requirements, and the implementation of best practices. You will oversee payroll systems, audit payroll data, and manage payroll staff to guarantee seamless operations. Location: ADM Headquarters, 330 Whitney Avenue, Ste. 740, Holyoke, MA 01040
Fully In-office Schedule: 8-5PM Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
- Oversee complete payroll processes for accuracy and timeliness
- Manage and process bi-weekly payroll for over 400 employees
- Update payroll records, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Generate periodic and ad-hoc payroll reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments
- Resolve payroll inquiries and issues efficiently
- Ensure organizational and legal compliance
- Engage in professional development and stay abreast of industry trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Minimum 5 years of payroll processing experience essential
- Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Knowledge of multi-state payroll, specifically NY, CT, MA & VT
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now required
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and attention to detail
- Financial and accounting acumen
