Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various areas of law, including Civil litigation, Probate Estate Planning, Family law and _ other relevant legal experience _ that demonstrates flexibility and a willingness to take on new legal projects. The best fit is someone who can see a case through from beginning to its successful conclusion. Duties:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, contracts, appellate briefing, and other agreements
- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the practice areas
- Manage caseload and prioritize tasks effectively
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree- Juris Doctorate
- Admission to the state bar association
- Proven experience in handling legal matters related to Civil litigation, probate and practice areas related to what our firm does.
- Strong negotiation and litigation skills
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
