Seeking BE/BC Family Medicine physician to join team in central WA.
The ideal Physician practices and promotes a continuum of care from preventive to acute care management and is a collaborative leader who understands healing systems. In addition to family practice services, the Medical Center operates a 24/7 Level IV Trauma Emergency Department, Laboratory and Imaging, Physical Therapy, Pelvic Floor Therapy, Wound Care and will soon expand to include Infusion services.
Two Nurse Practitioners currently serve the patients of the clinic, in addition to a professional and stable support team. The clinic currently has a volume of 200-300 patients per month with capacity to grow significantly. The clinic offers same day appointments, a busy practice while still allowing quality time per patient and an opportunity to serve a diverse patient population. The clinic operates Monday through Friday and the current hours are 8:00 to 5:00.
Salary and Benefits:
This position is a permanent, exempt employment position with an annual salary range of $230K-$250K, medical and dental benefits package, 403B retirement. Professional Malpractice Insurance coverage is provided by employer. An incentive plan is available after the first year. A standardized relocation package is included. No state income tax!
The Community:
The city is located near the center of Washington State just 10 miles North of I-90. The economic stability and strong community support for ongoing improvements is immediately evident in recent construction of a new, state-of-the-art high school and upgrades to the other five schools, new City Hall, Police Station and Public Safety Building.
The area is the gateway to the Wenatchee Valley, Leavenworth and the Okanogan Valley. The area is one of the sunniest places in Washington and a common weekend getaway for those living in the Puget Sound area.
Seattle is a gorgeous drive just 150 miles West from Quincy via Interstate 90; Spokane is a two hour drive to the East, also connected by Interstate 90. Both cities offer major airports, a plethora of upscale shopping, fine dining and abundant outdoor recreational activities. Wenatchee is a 35 minute drive and offers Mission Ridge ski resort, boating, shopping, dining and hotel accommodations.
Tourism is a major part of the economy. The Gorge Amphitheater, which draws an estimated 3,000 to 20,000 people per concert. Sunland Estates summer homes and the Crescent Bar Recreation area all add to the tourism along with the already available hunting, fishing, and boating. Golfers enjoy two local courses, one just four miles out of town, and one of them located parallel to the Columbia River at Crescent Bar. This is considered a tourist and recreational paradise.
