The AAA Member Advisor is responsible for qualifying leads, advancing the sales process, closing new sales, and achieving sales quotas. The Advisor will utilize a consultative approach to ensure member needs are clearly understood and member experience is at the core of the service. They will utilize their dealer network to negotiate the best deals for new and used vehicles with the objective of simplifying the car buying process for members and saving members time and money. This role will have direct impact on revenue creation for the club.
Essential Functions- Interact closely with AAA Branch teammates to ensure the AAA Car Buying Value Proposition is well understood and communicated to AAA members inquiring in-branch.
- Employ a consultative evaluation process for AAA members to understand the needs and objectives of members seeking a new vehicle.
- Sourcing new and used vehicles for members - finding appropriate price point for desired vehicle with the member.
- Manage a pipeline with precision, and consistently develop strategies to grow business.
- Follow the established sales process and consistently using company systems to document prospect interactions ensuring efficient lead management.
- Consistently monitor market trends and educate themselves on industry best practices to offer valuable perspective to clients.
- Prepare documentation as needed for vehicle transfer.
- Manage the delivery of vehicles to AAA members.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities- Ability to qualify opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding and experience in professional selling processes.
- Genuine passion for the sales discipline and for helping clients succeed.
- Ability and desire to thrive in a fast moving, ever-evolving environment.
- Ability to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
Education & Experience / Licenses & Certification- BA a plus but not required.
- Minimum of 10 years' direct work experience in inside or outside sales capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals and achieve sales quotas.
- Experience with customer relationship management software.
Working EnvironmentThis is primarily an office job. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending and lifting (up to 15 pounds). Approximately 98% of time is spent using a video display terminal.
