Chief of Pediatric Pulmonology WVU Medicine Children's Hospital Morgantown, West Virginia West Virginia University School of Medicine and Pediatrics Department is seeking a Chief for Pediatric Pulmonology/Sleep Medicine/Cystic Fibrosis at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor to lead a division with large potential for programmatic growth. Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pulmonary Medicine. Sleep Medicine certification is preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience practicing as a Pediatric Pulmonologist, with academic experience, clinical research and published work. WVU Children's Hospital is a 150-bed facility and includes dedicated pediatric operating rooms, cardiac catheterization lab, pediatric radiology and a dedicated pediatric anesthesia staff. WVU Children's Hospital has the only Level 4 NICU, a dedicated Cancer Institute, a Pediatric Emergency Department with Rapid Care, and Dedicated PICU and CICU services. Designated Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center, with plans to become Level 1, as it is for adults currently. WVU is a tertiary care center for the state of West Virginia, Western Maryland, Southwestern Pennsylvania, as well as Southeastern Ohio.
