Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze leases, JOAs, title opinions and other agreements to determine ownership in operated and non-operated areas
- Review, edit, negotiate, and draft land contracts, including, but not limited to leases, JOAs, farm-outs, term assignments, ROWs, easements, and other similar agreements
- Effectively distill and communicate complex land issues to peers and decision makers
- Coordinate with various local, state, Indian, and/or federal regulatory agencies, municipalities and other governmental agencies having jurisdiction in Colorado.
- Perform due diligence relating to acquisitions and divestitures, as well as title curative work
- Provide additional land support, as needed, to Business Development, Regulatory, and Land Administration groups
- Bachelor's Degree in Energy Management, Petroleum Land Management or closely related field preferred, JD a plus
- 8+ years of in-house oil and gas land work or due diligence/broker work with an emphasis on title review

- PC proficiency; experienced use with MS Excel, Sharepoint, and Word
- Able to learn and utilize company specific applications
Compensation details: 95000-120000 Yearly Salary
