Position Title: KITCHEN STAFF

Base Pay: $16.17 - $21.87 / Hour
Description: Essential Functions
- Deliver meals to rooms at designated times in a polite and friendly manner.
- Clean and set up dining tables and food trays.
- Uphold our high standards for food safety and sanitation.
- Listen and make note of residents' food and drink requests and needs.
- Assist in the kitchen as needed, including cooking, stocking ingredients, dishwashing and maintaining equipment.
- Inspect food, food preparation and storage areas.
- Communicate with medical staff to ensure nutritional goals are being met for each patient.
- Remove and dispose of food items that are past their expiration dates
- Other duties as prescribed by Manager/Lead
Requirements: - Excellent communication skills and the ability to empathize with patient needs.
- Must be able to walk/stand 80% of the shift
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in food services preferred
- Must be able to push, pull and/or carry up to 90 pounds
- Skilled in operating cooking appliances and preparing meals according to instruction
Summary: This is a 0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period) position, working a.m. shifts including every other weekend and holidays. Will need flexibility to fill in where needed.
Compensation details: 16.17-21.87 Hourly Wage
