Multiple Units and Specialties Available:General Med Surg:This unit caters to variety of patient populations with different medical diagnosis and conditions. We also cater to COVID patients. You will experience the full scope of nursing here! Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of RN experience. Preferably in Skilled Nursing, rehab or acute care but open to other areas. BSN preferred, will consider ADN candidates willing to enroll in a BSN program.Medicine Teaching:Med Surg Tele unit that includes 39 med surg beds and 6 IMU beds all in one unit! This is also a teaching unit where you can experience the full scope of nursing. Our patient population will also see surgical, cardiac, and COVID patients. This is a higher acuity med surg unit with a 1:4-5 ratio. Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of acute care/rehab/skilled nursing experience. BSN preferred, will consider ADN candidates willing to enroll in a BSN.Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE):Specializes in caring for 65 years and older patient population.Oncology/GI:Specializes in caring for oncology patients.Med Surg Tele:The 3 med surg tele units are each 38 beds. While these units are all very similar, One is dedicated to more of our general surgical/higher acuity patients while While the other two are more general med tele. They all have COVID designated beds. Please note are units could become FULL COVID units should cases increase. We use team approach on these units with different levels of staff support including PCAs, LVNs, Charge Nurses, Clinical Coordinators, etc. Ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and strong sense of teamwork. Required experience is at least 1 year of acute care/ SNF or rehab experience. BSN preferred, will consider ADN nurses if willing to obtain a BSN within a 3 year timeframe.Med Surg Ortho/Neuro Tele:This unit is 37 bed unit with 23 ortho/neuro beds and 14 rehab beds. This unit caters to variety of patients including stroke, knee surgeries, hips, etc. They all have COVID designated beds. We use team approach on these units with different levels of staff support including PCAs, LVNs, Charge Nurses, Clinical Coordinators, etc. Ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and strong sense of teamwork. Required experience is at least 1 year of acute care/ SNF or rehab experience. BSN preferred, will consider ADN nurses if willing to obtain a BSN within a 3 year timeframe.Med Surg Oncology:This unit is 34 bed unit with 13 oncology beds and 21 med surg beds. This unit caters to medical surgical, oncology and geriatric population. This unit will have NO COVID beds due to the nature of the population. We use team approach on these units with different levels of staff support including PCAs, LVNs, Charge Nurses, Clinical Coordinators, etc. Ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and strong sense of teamwork. Required experience is at least 1 year of acute care/ SNF or rehab experience. BSN preferred, will consider ADN nurses if willing to obtain a BSN within a 3 year timeframe.Neuro Med Surg:Full Neuroscience Service line Neuro ICU, Neuro IMU and Neuro Med/Surg.Pediatrics:- BSN strongly preferred because of Magnet status. Will consider ADN currently enrolled in a BSN program or 1 to 2 pre-reqs away from being accepted into a BSN program.- Acute care Pediatric strongly preferred; may consider 3-4 years of Med/Surg acute care RN experience instead of Pedi.- Will be trained to float to NICU if needed.- Need someone interested in working on nights for the long term.- There are 6 beds and a 1/3 nurse - patient ratio.TIRR Rehab:- BSN preferred because of Magnet status.- Acute Rehab, Med/Surg, LTAC and Rehab RN experience considered.- 2 days of TIRR orientation will be at TIRR in the medical center.- There are 29 beds and a 1/6 nurse - patient ratio.Sugical Ortho:Nurses will also train and float to our Joint Center as needed.Joint Replacement:Nurses will also train and float to our Surgical Ortho unit as needed.Med Surg & Critical Care ONLY:
