Overview
Personal injury law firm seeking an Associate Attorney to join our dynamic and experienced team. The ideal candidate will be a licensed attorney with a strong background in litigation and legal research. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of cases and contribute to the success of our law office.
Duties
- Conduct legal research and analyze relevant case law and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of cases, including drafting complaints, discovery, mediation briefs, lien negotiation, and depositions.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare legal documents.
- Utilize legal databases such as LexisNexis to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the law.
- Maintain organized and detailed records of case files, including all legal research and litigation documents.
- Provide exceptional client service and maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions.
- Participate in case evaluations and make recommendations for further action.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as managing case files and scheduling appointments.
Requirements
- A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- A current license to practice law in the state where the law office is located.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Experience in litigation and legal research.
- Familiarity with personal injury.
- Knowledge of personal injury law.
- Experience working in a law office environment.
- Proficiency in legal databases, including LexisNexis.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $84,254.09 - $101,467.29 per year
