Schedule
- 12s and 24s
- Rotate weekend and nights
- Call is 1-2 nights per month and 1-1.5 days per month
The role you will play
- The Nurse Practitioner will work as part of the clinical team that includes 20 Advance Practice Clinicians, 6 Neonatal Fellows 13 Neonatal Attendings, rotating Pediatric Residents, Respiratory Therapists, Dieticians, Pharmacists, Care Coordinators, Social Workers and other healthcare providers
- Only level 4 NICU in central Pennsylvania and serves a diverse population that includes extremely premature infants, as well as those with general and specialized surgical disorders, multiple anomalies including genetic disorders, complex congenital heart disease, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy requiring therapeutic hypothermia, and conditions requiring ECMO
- A wide degree of patient care autonomy/latitude is expected

Background Profile
- NP/PA must have experience in NICU Level 3 or 4.
- Neonatology Nurse Practitioner certification focus is required.
