Responsibilities:
Proactively solicit and sell home and auto insurance policies to potential clients through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
Assess clients' insurance needs and provide tailored insurance solutions that best fit their requirements.
Educate clients on different insurance products, coverage options, and policy features.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and insurance policies issued.
Collaborate effectively with insurance underwriters and other team members to ensure timely processing of applications and policy issuance.
Stay updated on industry trends, insurance regulations, and changes in insurance products.
Maintain company standards for production and accuracy.
Prioritize work, meet deadlines, and handle high volume workloads.
Work as a dedicated team member to assist whenever needed.
Maintain a positive attitude.
Maintain a welcoming and warm environment for clients and the team.
Assist with the completion of special projects as requested.
Participate in continuing education credits to maintain Property/Casualty license.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as an insurance solicitor, insurance sales representative, or a similar role in the insurance industry.
Strong understanding of home and auto insurance products, coverage options, and policy terms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a goal-oriented environment.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales management tools.
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field preferred.
Ability to work with confidential material.
Insurance license (Michigan Property & Casualty) required.
Agency owner is willing to cover the costs associated with securing Michigan Property & Casualty License for selected applicant if needed.
