Adult Tele-Psychiatrist Outpatient Floating Locums Job California
Details/Requirements: Adult outpatient coverage for 40 hours a week starting ASAP and ongoing.
This psychiatrist will be used to see patients that are in between doctors, due to doctors leaving or retiring. They will see patients that need follow ups and floated until full assigned to a new psychiatrist
For telehealth, they have their own telehealth software platform.
Average 8-10 patients per day
Mainly all follow ups and medication checks
32-40 hours a week. 40 hours a week preferred.
Schedule is Monday - Friday and psychiatrist can work 8 or 10 hour days. Thursday and Friday are mandatory days.
No call.
For adult patients, they typically allow one hour for initial evaluations and 30 minutes for medication follow ups.
Electronic health record, so you must be computer savvy.
Takes 4-8 weeks for credentialing.
Board Certification is required.
Six month minimum assignment.
