We're currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Concrete Protection Liner - Sales Representative to join our growing Concrete Protection Division in the East or West Region. This role requires the oversight of long cycle product sales for municipal water and wastewater applications designed to protect concrete, expand the design life of water / wastewater systems and reduce inflow and infiltration (I&I). Responsibilities will include leveraging of commercial expertise in the municipal market and technical background in water and wastewater systems. The base working location can be chosen from any major metropolitan area in the Eastern United States.
Primary duties will involve presenting value-added technical products and solutions to engineers, distributors, and end-users within the municipal water and wastewater sector to influence product specifications for projects. Additionally, you'll lead business development and sales initiatives for both existing and new customers by collaborating with external sales representatives at our distribution partners, crafting business plans, and managing annual sales budgets.
Responsibilities:
· Presenting technical / value-producing products and solutions to engineers and system owners within the municipal water, wastewater, and industrial sectors to influence project specifications.
· Leading business development initiatives for both existing and new customers by collaborating with distribution partners, consulting engineers and installation contractors.
· Providing support throughout the consultative sales process, including:
o reviewing specifications
o coordinating training for distributor and installation partners
· Staying informed about the competitive municipal market landscape, as well as the needs of our customer base, to drive the development of new product innovations and solutions.
· Management of customer sales accounts and growth of polyethylene lined solutions within the water, wastewater, and industrial marketplace.
Key Qualifications:
· Have earned a bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.). Civil or environmental engineering preferred.
· Possess over 5 years of professional experience in the municipal water and wastewater industry, including familiarity with reinforced concrete pipe/structures and concrete protection.
· Have more than 3 years of outside sales experience, which includes managing, driving, or supporting lengthy sales cycle projects.
· Exhibit effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence specifications.
· Have experience utilizing relevant sales tools and CRM systems.
· Willingness to travel approximately 50-60%, including overnight stays, for meetings with distributors, consulting engineers, end-users, participation in events and tradeshows, and engagement with manufacturing site and functional leadership teams.
