Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.
- Performs monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assists with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement packages
- Supports the accounts payable and accounts receivable function as necessary and the finance department in general
- Assists with preparing timely analyses (ad hoc and otherwise) in support of management decision making
- Assists with internal control documentation
- Prepares year-end schedules for auditors and tax preparers
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting from four-year college or university
- Two to four years of related experience preferred; however, the position is open to new college graduates. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
- Public accounting external audit experience with a manufacturing focus is a plus but not required.
- Professional designation preferred (CPA or FP&A or CGMA) but not required.
- Experience with a major ERP system is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills are a plus
