PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Reactor Operator Licensee candidate attends training to attain their Reactor Operator License from the NRC.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Candidates attending class with the intent of attaining an RO License. 2. Study time, field time needed to attain licensed status. 3. Other duties, as assigned, to support site operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications - External
1. Three (3) years&rsquo experience in a commercial power plant's Operations Department or a related position on a sea bound or land based military power plant or six (6) months as a fully qualified Equipment Operator.
2. RO candidate must meet the requirements set forth in TQ-AA-150-F15 "Reactor Operator Eligibility Assessment'.
3. Ability to successfully complete Medical screening criteria as documented on the NRC form 396.
4. Must meet HR-AA-1004 requirements.
