Position Summary:
In this role you will be accountable for the operational management of an 18 bay PACU (10 for inpatient surgical procedures and 8 for outpatient surgical procedures), including efficient and effective management of human, fiscal, and material resources. Coordinating patient care and care delivery processes. Ensuring a culture of safety, quality, service excellence, professionalism, personnel development, and team collaboration that supports the Middlesex Mission and the Department of Nursing vision, philosophy and strategic plan.
Minimum qualifications:
A Registered Nurse who is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and is currently licensed to practice in the state of Connecticut
2-3 years of CCU/ICU, PACU or ED experience
Master s Degree (initiated within 1 year, completed within 3 years)
Bachelor s Degree or higher in Nursing
