The Systems Engineering Integration and Test Department at Vision Systems, a world leader in state-of-the-art focal plane and camera products, has a career-growth opportunity for a Systems Engineer who is committed and passionate about EO and IR solutions. A successful candidate will be experienced working in a fast paced team oriented environment and engage in the detailed design, analysis, trade studies, manufacturing and test of EO/IR subsystems design and test.
This position is an onsite role at the Goleta, CA Location
What You Will Do:
- Assembly, testing and verification of EO/IR product
- Design, manufacturing and test of visible, SWIR, MWIR and LWIR products and subsystems.
- Program support within both a developmental and production environment
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience in systems engineering, test engineering, engineering support or manufacturing
- Experience managing technical requirements and flow down (DOORs preferred)
- Experience working with Change Configuration Board, engineering technical data package change management
- Experience with bidding and proposal development for EO/IR subsystems and sustainment
- Experience supporting requirements development and validation
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience working with MATLAB
- EVMS certification

The salary range for this role is 130,000 USD - 272,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
