The Healthcare Manager for Personal Care maintains 24/7 overall responsibility for coordinating the total management of the Personal Care Households. The Healthcare Manager provides clinical leadership to the personal care team in the Abundant Life Center as well as clinical support to the RNs and LPNs at Newhaven Court. The Healthcare Manager ensures that the abundant life philosophy of the organization is supported and strengthen s the ability of the care team to grow and develop. The Healthcare Manager participates in planning, organizing, directing and facilitating the clinical services of Personal Care to ensure regulatory compliance and to nurture a resident direct culture. The Healthcare Manager is responsible to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations including all regulatory documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Must meet regulatory requirements for licensure as registered nurse in Pennsylvania. Must be willing and able to become a certified medication administration trainer through DHS.
Must have demonstrated leadership qualities, supervisory skills, interpersonal relationship skills, and knowledge of federal and state regulations governing clinical care, nursing practice and leadership. Experience with Chapter 2600 of the Pennsylvania Code preferred. Experience in a long term care setting preferred.
Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
