Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous chef cook to join our team. As a Sous chef , you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of the culinary operations. Your role will involve supervising the kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food service, and providing exceptional hospitality to our clients.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise the kitchen staff, including , cooks, and other culinary professionals
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards
- Train new staff members on proper food handling techniques, safety procedures, and customer service protocols
Requirements:
- Previous experience in culinary, or kitchen management roles
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, menu planning.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality food presentation and service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, staff members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.59 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42 per week
