Job Overview:
For the Lead Generator role, we are seeking a relational and engaging person with an interest in setting leads with potential
customers, as well as interest in marketing and attending events to promote CGC Water Treatment and Plumbing. This
position would be serving primary in the Greater Charlotte and surrounding areas, including Hickory, Statesville, Kannapolis, Gastonia, Rock Hill, Lancaster, Hendersonville, and Asheville.
The Lead Generator primary responsibility is to generate leads for in-home water tests completed by our sales team. The Lead Generator position generates leads through many avenues such as generating Home Depot store leads, networking with Chamber of Commerce groups and communicating with potential customers. With these efforts, the Lead Generator is responsible for maintaining and improving CGC's relationship with the community to create brand awareness in new territories. The Lead Generator will need to be motivated, self-directed and comfortable setting leads for the sales team.
The Lead Generator performs a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
As a Home Depot provider: Generate in store leads | Educate Home Depot Associates on Kinetico products | Communicate with customers via phone to help set/schedule in home water tests. A supporting role for Territory Managers
Liaison for marketing partners (Networking)
Attending trade shows and networking events
Helping us drive branding in new territories
Qualifications & Abilities Community Relations Specialist:
Knowledge of sales principles; experience in lead generating a plus
Experience appreciated, but not required
Coachable mindset - willing to be trained, held accountable and receive ongoing training
Competitive self-starter, able to take initiative and manage changing priorities
Excellent listening, verbal and customer service skills
Networking experience is a plus
Driver's License (Required)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements for Community Relations Specialist:
Hours are based on scheduled events (morning coffee meetings, evening networking events)
40-hour work week, occasional evenings, some weekends
Work will include time in the office and on the road and some from home, based on the nature of the daily schedule
