SALARY: Entry: $24.47 hourly / Mid-Point: $27.45 hourly
Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the New Mexico Corrections Department.
We are currently seeking a full-time Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team at Central New Mexico Correctional Facility located in Los Lunas, New Mexico.
The Substance Abuse Counselor is responsible for coordinating all substance abuse/addiction program activities in a correctional setting. This includes providing intake, assessment, treatment planning, and group and individual counseling.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- License Bachelor Social Worker (LBSW), Licensed Alcohol & Drug Addiction Counselor (LADAC) or Licensed Substance Abuse Associate (LSAA).
- Minimum of two years experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8:00am to 4:30pm or 4/10 hour shifts
