Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for identifying and performing all regular maintenance activities at the rental buildings in their geography. This includes responding to resident requests and managing their schedule of work as set forth by the Maintenance Superintendent. This position impacts our residents by ensuring their apartments are in excellent condition and that all building operations and amenities are performing at the high standards of the RMS brand. Will also perform checklist walkthroughs and verify services rendered by subcontractors. This is full-time position (no overtime) and candidates will be required to work Monday – Saturday and rotate being on-call for any emergencies. This position reports to the Maintenance Superintendent.
Position Responsibilities:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of experience in building maintenance (experience or familiarity with all trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair)
- Must have a current driver's license and reliable transportation
- Requires a friendly and responsive customer-service demeanor
- Ability to read, write and speak English
