Summary:
Assesses, Plans, Implements, Evaluates and Directs nursing care for individual/group of patients, with a family centered care focus. Able to work on an on-call basis as needed. Must be able to work independently and prioritize patients/staff needs.
Responsibilities:
1. Assessments must be completed according to policy/procedure
2. Assess and reassess pain and effects of pain management techniques
3. Assess and document the current status of the patient, their nursing care needs including biophysical, Psycho-social, environmental, self-care, educational, and discharge.
4. Other duties as required.

Technical Expertise
1. Experience working with all levels within an organization is preferred.
2. Experience in healthcare is preferred.
4.Proficiency in MS Office Outlook, Excel, Word or similar software is required. HRIS is preferred. Benefits Carrier platforms is required.
Education and Experience
1. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Ohio.
2. Certification: BLS, must complete hospital requirements for PICC competency within 3 months of hire. PALS every year and sedation education must be completed within 6 months of hire and maintained.
