Full Job Description
As a estimator you will be responsible for all day to day operations. Qualifications and tasks include but not limited to:
Journeyman plumbing and gas fitter license required
Must have extensive proven knowledge in plumbing code
Assist in developing proposals to support job requirements and organizational goals
Do all material and labor take offs
Must maintain job estimates in accordance with established policy and procedure
Must have onsite plumbing installation skills
Job may entail visits to jobsites
Design plumbing lay outs in accordance with local plumbing codes
Ensure that all documents are accurate and up to date
Submit RFI's and other communications with general contractors
Professional interactions and clear communication with General Contractors, office personal and inspectors
Experience in construction management is an asset
Ability to develop critical path and estimating schedule
Must be able to work independently as well as with others as a team
Should exhibit strong organizational and time management skills
Experience with adobe and Microsoft office, specifically word and excel a must
