The Wound Care Clinical Director is responsible for the clinical management and the strategic growth of the ProCare Wound Healing Programs and other wound care continuum programs for the assigned area of responsibility. This position is responsible for the complete oversight of the ProCare Wound Healing Program. The Regional Clinical Director has oversight of the day-to-day center clinical operations, staff management, financial management, quality/performance improvement, and clinical functions oversight. The Regional Clinical Director is also responsible for maintaining collaborative and consultative client relationships within and outside the hospital organization and for creating effective working relationships. The Regional Clinical Director directs clinical staff and works in conjunction with contracted staff to ensure quality care is provided to all patients, ensures compliance with State and Federal regulations, and ensures ProCare Policies and Procedures are enacted accordingly.o Oversees the day-to-day clinical management of outpatient clinic(s), and other wound care continuum programs, as applicable.o Continuously assesses current clinic flows, processes, and procedures, identifies areas of improvement, and develops and implements best practices and appropriate changes to improve outcomes.o Works with hospital and company personnel to ensure the availability of adequate resources, supplies, equipment, and services.o Facilitates the flow of information and maximizes effective communication throughout the program.o Prioritizes responsibilities and directs the work of the Centers clinical staff and non-clinical staff.o Collaborates with other health care providers across the wound care continuum, ProCare Healing Centers, Providers, and Medical Director regarding clinic and patient needs.o May function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe) in accordance with ProCare Healing Centers policy. Manages direct reports in conjunction with the company and hospital HR departments. This includes interviewing, hiring, motivating, coaching, counseling, establishing performance expectations, and conducting performance reviews. (5%) Performs Financial Management (10%):o Manages and coordinates the revenue cycle for ProCare Healing Centers and for the hospital partner, in conjunction with the Regional Director as appropriate.o Stay current with reimbursement changes, providing physician and staff updates and education as needed.o Review key financial reports, identify key indicator trends, and develop plans to implement best practices to ensure fiscal responsibility.o Tracks and reports all ancillary revenues generated by the program.o Manages costs through appropriate utilization and management of labor and supply across the wound care continuum.o Works with ProCare Healing Centers support team to complete financial reviews and present results to hospital leadership.Manages Community Education/Marketing functions (20%) Works collaboratively, as part of a multi-functional team, to best determine key target referral sources, and develops a systematic approach to build those customer relationships and increase ProCare Healing Centers referrals. Maintains, monitors, and updates the list of Physician Practices within a given radius of the hospital on an ongoing basis. May be required to visit Physician Practices and interact with key providers to provide awareness of the ProCare Healing Centers program. Document all physician office interactions, as well as the visits with the Physician with the ProCare Regional Director/Marketing Director. Communicates on a regular basis with the (C)DO and/or (C)VPO and the hospital leaders, regarding goals, targets, and other relevant referral development information, as needed.QualificationsCurrently licensed as a Registered Nurse under the laws of the state of Oklahoma.Experience and knowledge related to home health standards of care, regulations, rules, and laws.Prefer nurses with at least three (3) years of experience in an administrative or supervisory position.Recent experience in direct patient care is preferred.Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to adjust to changing tasks frequently.Light to moderate degrees of stress incurred in daily employment.Must have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, maintain valid auto liability insurance, and be able to drive throughout the service area under a variety of weather conditions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification - to be maintained throughout the duration of employment in this position.
